When Dennis Powell, CFO at Cisco, announced his retirement, his team decided to send him out with a bang, rather than a whimper. The group really wanted to have some fun with Dennis and wanted a video that would set the tone for his retirement dinner.
Armed only with the knowledge that they wanted a humorous video, the team at Creative Video Services conceived, wrote, and produced a mock infomercial for a fabricated “self-help” financial program.
The video CVS created, which roasted Dennis and included finance team members and other Cisco executives, got the retirement festivities off to a roaring start.
